Bruce Yardley was an Australian cricketer. He was Right arm off spin bowler & Right hand batsmen in Australia cricket squad. He began his career as a medium pacer but switches to spin in late 20’s. He was born on 5 September 1947 in Midland, Western Australia. He is known as “Roo” among his teammate. Hemade his first class career debut in 1966–67 against Queensland, he takes one wicket in that match.

Bruce Yardley made his International test career debut from Australia in 1978 against India. He made 22 (First Inning) and 26 (Second Inning) in debut test match, he didn’t took any wicket in the first inning, but in second inning he bowls well and take 4 wickets. It helps Australia to win that test match.

After India, Australia was touring West Indies, He took three wickets in first test match but Australialoses the match. In the second test match he scored well from his bat he score 74 (In First inning) and 47 (In Second inning) but again Australia lose that match too.

Australia wins the third test match, Bruce Yardley getthreewicket in that match and score 33 (In first inning) & 15 Not Out (In second inning). Heplays his Last Test match in 1983 against Sri Lanka.
